  Awesome experience, enjoyed the exhibits. Carrie cares about safety and is very knowledgeable. We were not able to go out today due to rough ocean waters. Look forward to coming back in summer and trying Whale tour again.

• Review of "Bella Beach Property Management" at Depoe Bay

  Reserved the Paris suite for a quick last minute getaway to celebrate my daughter turning 7. This was her main present, as she loves the beach. I selected this property due to its private amenities, especially the hot tub (which we found not usable). When we arrived I was very pleased with the grounds appearances and suite we purchased. Once the sun went down it was another story... we were not provided information on how to turn on lighting for hot tub or stairs that led up to it. (Turns out it is a black box, with a dial inside for low voltage, adheared to the bottom of outside wall next to garage door. Not obvious at all and nothing referencing it any of there books). After an hour in the rain, trying to get it sorted with no avail, I called Lisa for help. Big Mistake! I was greeted with someone who was clearly not interested in my concerns. Lisa presented herself as very bothered I had interrupted her evening. In trying to get her assistance over the phone, I was replied to by being cut off each time I spoke, patronized as though I was incompetent and ultimately told if we were unsatisfied we could go find a hotel elsewhere for the night without an offer to refund our money. We did finally get the hot tub lights on, only to find all but one light on the stairs didn't work and when we tried to use the hot tub, the cover smelled so bad due to the immense amout of mildew on it that we could not tolerate breathing it. Furthermore, the door to the garage was stuck so badly we literally could not open the door to use any of the ammentities (bikes, table tennis). In trying to recover from our evening gone down the drain, so to speak, we attempted a fire with a movie, only to be greeted with a gas fire place (the only heat provided) that leaks gas when used and then turned off, so we had to sleep with no heat and the window open. When we opened the doors to access the TV above the fire place, a statue had been placed in front so there was no way to open it without knocking it off the shelf; which happened and it broke. Perhaps if I hadn't been so distracted tying to deal with all the other issues and comfort my very disappointed 7year old, I might have noticed the statue prior. Based on the lack of maintenance provided for the property and rudeness of Lisa, not to mention the clear intent not to address any of these issues... we will be spending our money elsewhere from now on. That being said... Save your money, Save your time and head aches, Save your experience and memories... and DO NOT RENT BELLA PROPERTIES!

  The house was clean, the office staff was friendly and helpful, there were dishes and cutlery plus various kitchen implements to make it easy for our 12 family members to enjoy our food and drink. The house is a short walk to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the house was easily heated when needed.
